The Golden Era of Black Cinema is a bi-monthly retrospective cinema series dedicated to those hilarious, endearing & thought provoking black films from the 90s!

Join us as we celebrate/ screen Kasi Lemmon’s masterpiece, Eve’s Bayou.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A

with co-star Roger G. Smith

and moderated by Tracey Moore, creator, co-host of

Inside The Black Box.

Followed by a 90s mixer spinning that flava’ we know and love.


It all takes place on Monday. May 20th at Alamo Drafthouse,

Lower Manhattan.
